Get in touch

Email support@grupaapp.com.

Grupa is built by one person, so replies usually take a day or two, and longer over a weekend. You’ll get a faster fix if you include your device model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it went wrong.

Reporting a message or blocking someone

Grupa has group chat, so you may come across a message you think should not be there. Two controls are built into the app, and both work from the message itself.

To report a message, press and hold it and choose Report message. You’ll pick a reason — spam or scam, harassment or bullying, hate speech, sexual content, violence or threats, self-harm, or something else — and you can add a note if there’s context we’d miss.

We review every report within 24 hours. If a message breaks our Terms of Service, we remove it, and we remove the person who sent it from the group. Serious or repeated cases mean losing the account entirely. We don’t tell the reported person who reported them.

To block someone, press and hold any of their messages and choose Block. Blocking works in both directions: you won’t see their messages and they won’t see yours, in every group you share. Their existing messages disappear from your view straight away.

Blocking is private — the other person isn’t told. You can undo it any time from Settings › Blocked Users, which is also where you’ll find everyone you’ve blocked. Because a blocked person’s messages are hidden, that screen is the only way back, so it’s worth knowing it’s there.

If you can’t reach the message, or you’d rather not go through the app, email support@grupaapp.com with what happened and roughly when. We’d rather hear about something twice than not at all.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We can remove content and accounts, but we can’t respond to an emergency. For content that appears to involve the abuse or exploitation of a child, email us and we will act on it and report it to the appropriate authorities.

Common questions

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and choose to delete your account. You’ll be asked to confirm. You don’t need to email us to do it, and there’s no waiting period.

What happens to my data when I delete my account?

Your profile is erased — email address, name, and the link to your Google or Apple account. Tasks and groups you created stay for the other members who are still using them, shown as created by a deleted user, and messages you sent stay in their conversations with your name removed.

That last part matters: the text of your messages is retained. If there’s something specific you want erased, email us and we’ll remove the content itself. The Privacy Policy explains this field by field.

I can’t sign in with Google or Apple.

First, make sure you’re using the same provider you originally signed up with — an account created with Apple can’t be reached by signing in with Google, even when both use the same email address.

If you deleted your account, signing in again won’t restore it. You can register again from scratch with the same email address.

Still stuck? Email us with the provider you’re using and any error message you see.

Can I use Grupa on Android?

Not yet. Grupa is iPhone-only for now.

Someone in my group is being abusive. What do I do?

Press and hold one of their messages to report it or block them — see reporting a message or blocking someone above. Blocking takes effect immediately; reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Same address — support@grupaapp.com. Both are genuinely welcome, and bug reports with steps to reproduce get fixed fastest.
